Rebecca Fraiser

Rebecca Fraiser has been performing since the age of 3 starting in ballet and moving into theatre and singing. After seeing her first play at age 5 she knew immediately what she wanted to do with her life. She instantly began writing plays and coercing her friends and family to act in them while she directed, produced, and acted too. It was a sudden passion that her parents encouraged by enrolling her in acting classes. She performed in many productions at the local little theatre and school theatre up until she graduated from high school.

Rebecca attended Mississippi State University majoring in Broadcast Journalism and Theatre. However, she never intended to pursue a  career in broadcast journalism as she had a plan since the age of 10 years old to move to Hollywood and act. So, when she packed her bags to head west for a career in film and television, it was no surprise to her friends and family in her hometown of Jackson, Mississippi.

Upon arriving in Los Angeles, Rebecca began intense acting studies at the Stella Adler Academy and the Actors Circle Theatre with Arthur Mendoza as well as many other prestigious acting schools. During this time she was studying she was fortunate enough to gain work in modeling appearing on posters and various ads for such companies as Budweiser, Jim Beam, Dove and Axe. She received  her first little break from Director Sophia Coppola for a very small part  in film "Somewhere." Unfortunately, Rebecca was so consumed with model work there was little time for acting and she began singing and songwriting as a form to express herself when she wasn't working. She collaborated with many musicians and proved to be a great awakening of self discovery and realization for this young artist. She was ultimately offered an opportunity to move to Nashville to record a country album and work the Nashville scene. Rebecca was suddenly faced with a big opportunity at a path she never imagined.  It was then she realized she must get back to her true passion and purpose for leaving Mississippi.

At a friend's recommendation, she enrolled at Playhouse West Repertoire to see if acting was still her calling. In a short time, she knew her gut feeling was right and her passion for acting was fueling more than ever. She studied intensely and starred in a couple plays at Playhouse West. The school provided a great workspace for sharpening her craft. During this time she was cast from Playhouse West's student body for a web series/television pilot produced by former student James Franco's company Rabbit Bandini. She collaborated with colleagues at Playhouse West to produce her own films that she starred in and wrote. Playhouse West is also where she connected with a group of like minded artists with whom she works on films to this day. Rebecca is currently lined up for a couple of film projects this year as well as finishing writing her web series "Fairly Clueless"  that she intends to begin production on this year.
